What to do if your wireless Internet connection is not working:
NEVER press the reset button on this unit. It will reset it to factory default settings and guarantee that your connection will not work. Also never run the setup software to change any settings on the unit. Doing either will mean a chargable service call to get it reprogrammed.
If the Power LED is not on, make sure you have the AC adapter plugged into a live electrical outlet. If it is, then you may need a replacement AC adapter.
If the LAN LED is not on, there is a problem between the wireless bridge and the network equipment in your premises, check your network connections.
If the WAN LED is not on, there is a problem with the wireless connection from our access point. Make sure your antenna has not been moved or damaged. If your antenna apears normal, wait another 5 minutes just in case we are performing some maintenance on the network before calling your internet provider.
If the LAN, WAN, and Power LEDs are all on and your connection still does not work, unplug the power connector and wait 30 seconds before plugging it back in. Wait another 5 minutes and see if all the LEDs come back on.
Once all three of the lights come back on:
- If you have a gateway/router connected for sharing your connection, turn it off, wait 30 seconds and turn it back on.
- If you have the wireless bridge connected directly to your computer, you may also need to reboot the computer.
If after all these steps you still can not surf the net, or if you are having to do this more than once a week, please call your Internet Service Provider to report the problem.
